BRITISH DESIGNED AND MADE. Personalised engraving service available www.boing jewellery.com | sarah@boing jewellery.com | +44 (0)1628 789999 BOING was inspired by the ropes my husband relied on for safety in so many outdoor sports he did in the 90’s. He trekked in South America, New Zealand, the Pyrenees and Scotland, ice climbed, abseiled, bungee jumped, rafted, water skied, paraglided and loved windsurfing so much he took this passion to every continent, but his big love was being on top of mountains. Amongst others, he scaled Venezuela’s highest mountain, Pico Bolivar at 5,000m, then Nevado Pisco in Northern Peru at 5,752m during which he missed a crevasse by a foot while popping to the loo during the night, so BOING could have disappeared into oblivion years before it eventually arrived. Our ropes were essential for most of these activities and he built up a sizeable collection of them - all tough, beautiful and tactile. Over the years we have introduced clasps for our bracelets made from silver, PVD and silver with gold coating, of course our stainless steel remains a strong leader in the gift market due to it’s price point of £35-£50 retail. BOING products are 100% UK handmade and designed in the UK. We work very closely with some of the finest UK precision engineering companies and rope manufacturers in making our designs come to life. Every BOING item is made by hand, polished and quality tested by our BOING team before being shipped out direct to customers or suppliers. We try to source most of our rope and leather from the UK and are pretty successful in this regard with sailing rope – it helps being an island! Occasionally though, to ensure a great selection of climbing rope for you we need to go to the US or Western Europe where there are bigger mountains to buy authentic climbing rope from the world’s leading rope manufacturers. In May we launched our new silver climbing ‘Rope Drop’ pendants, these beautiful pendants give our stockists a unisex product that is ideal for the gift market. In July we will also be launching two new pieces again inspired by our love of the mountains. BOING’s stockists range from jewelers, gift shops, fashion, sport shops and adventure parks; there is no limit to where we can be found. All new stockists are supported with a free counter top stand and free staff products. We believe in looking after our stockists and often promote them on our social media platforms and on our own website. Personalisation has become a very large part of our business and we know this is something we must offer in order to keep up with this massive growing market. We charge for this on the BOING retail website we don’t charge our stockists for this service; giving stockists an advantage. For enquiries to becoming a stockist phone or email and the BOING team who will give you all the information you’ll need along with a free sample
