82 Heading into its seventh year, Fashion SVP promises to come back bigger and better than ever before. IDEX, the organiser of Fashion SVP, the UK’s international sourcing show, has announced that a major expansion of the event in January 2019 will be led by the launch of a dedicated knitwear focus. Taking place from 15 th -16 th January, 2019, at Olympia London, the show will feature more than 40 major international producers of jerseywear casuals, traditional knits and knitted accessories, and new section Knit Solutions “will interest all brands and buyers looking for innovation and inspiration from the knitwear and jersey wear segment,” according to the organiser. Fashion SVP CEO Buzz Carter said: “The relentless expansion of the UK’s only international sourcing show continues with this exciting new development. We have teamed up with the top names in international knitwear to present Knit Solutions, a curated selection of the finest knitwear production on the planet. This is very much in line with what senior buyers have been saying they would like to see more of at the show.” The knitwear launch comes hot on the heels of Source Denim, the denim part of the Fashion SVP. Following its successful launch at the June 2018 edition, the plan is to double Source Denim’s size for January. Alongside these exciting plans, there are the regular offerings such as the insightful clinics at The Fashion Station, fabric and trend demonstrations, an industry jobs forum and prime networking between the key movers and shakers of the fashion industry. The show is the go- to destination for all the knowledge available on international sourcing in the UK.
