The collection, designed by charity founder Lucinda Chignell, includes two adjustable pendant necklaces and two friendship bracelets in 14-carat-plated gold and 925 sterling silver.The design features the Adinkra, the African symbol for strength, chosen by Lucinda to represent the charity’s mission. Sausage Tree Charity’s projects, located in Zambia, aim to educate local children with practical training, schooling and awareness of the environment to lead sustainable and successful lives in a community where infrastructure is poor. Its work, operated purely on a voluntary basis, has raised more than £333,000 since commencing its mission in 2001.The projects have developed school buildings, houses for local teachers and wells to ensure safe drinking water for local communities. Managing director, Annie says: “I’m incredibly proud of my niece as founder of Sausage Tree Charity. Visit anniehaakdesigns.co.uk BRITISH EYEWEAR BRAND TOM DAVIES UNVEILS ITS YOUNG & IN LOVE WINDOW DISPLAY AT CHELSEA IN BLOOM British eyewear brand Tom Davies has unveiled its Young & In Love window display for this year’s Chelsea in Bloom. Tom Davies won the Chelsea in Bloom Innovation Award in 2017 and teamed up with florists Moyses Stevens to create a giant floral heart floating above an ocean of flowers in the store windows on Sloane Square. Produced by Cadogan in association with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), Chelsea in Bloom transformed the streets in May with breathtaking floral displays around the theme Summer of Love, inspired by the Royal Wedding and the cultural revolution of the 1960s.The floral heart, which forms the focal point of the Tom Davies window display, was created using daisies, hydrangeas, roses and foxglove plants that appears to float above flowers. To mark the occasion, Tom Davies, whose bespoke eyewear is worn by high-profile figures such as Ed Sheeran, Brad Pitt and Rita Ora, has designed an exclusive range of floral-shaped sunglasses, priced from £295.These were featured in the window display.
