92 and Junior, we also have the “Screen” glasses to protect from the blue light emitted by screens at the office and at home, as well as collections for sport. We offer the Nautic, which is a larger and streamlined shape with polarised lenses, and the Glacier, which is designed for use on high mountains with removable coated cotton side shields and 100 per cent UV category 4 glasses, for various sporting activities. We have more recently launched the Snow collection, which comprise all-weather masks with dual-screen visors treated against fogging, How often do you change up your window dressings and displays? We change it regularly – almost every six weeks – because we have a lot of news. What are your plans to develop your online presence? Our main goal is to make the purchase of Izipizi glasses easy – whatever the channel. With this logic in mind, we work to give the customer an intuitive experience in order to help them choose their model and ensure that it is delivered quickly around the world. Do you attend any trade shows – and if so, which ones and why? We are exhibiting at a number of trade shows this year, including Scoop, Jacket Required, Top Drawer, Autumn Fair, and 100% Optical. These fairs allow us to meet our customers and present our new collections. We would like to increase our visibility on the market, so the trade shows are a good way to meet new buyers. We do a lot of fashion shows worldwide, as well as in the optics and children’s industries. We do Maison et objet, Who’s next, Playtime and Silmo in France, PITTI in Florence and MIDO in Milan. Why did you decide to open a new store in London? We decided to open our second Izipizi store after the successful opening of our first Parisian store in Le Marais, which is at the heart of an unusual and trendy area. The London store is ideally located at the entrance to Carnaby Street in front of the famous Liberty department store. It sits among must-have brands like Swatch, Vans and Muji, with our awesome store presenting all of the brand’s adult and child collections. It is a neighbourhood that perfectly embodies the values of Izipizi: happy, easy, open. We were seduced by the creative energy that comes out of Carnaby Street. Are you looking to open more stores across the UK? We do things step by step in order to build a solid foundation. We worked hard for more than a year to open this first London-based shop, so we hope that we will achieve success and will be able to open others in the future. What has been your standout moment since opening the store? We learned many different things with our France store opening, as well as our second store in London. However, if we have to choose one standout moment, it’s the first day we opened the shops. All three of us were on site to welcome the first customers, and we were genuinely happy to meet them – it was an unforgettable moment. How do you view the eyewear retail market at present, and what advice would you give other retailers? We don’t know if we’re licensed to give advice, but our belief is that consumers are increasingly seeking simpler, more stylish and accessible products in order to be able to collect several glasses that can be changed every day. They do not want to be limited to one pair – the glasses remain primarily a fashion accessory. What are your plans for the future? We have only one plan, which is to become an international brand that offers beautiful, essential and timeless glasses for everyone and every moment of life.
