And if I like a colour or print, I will just go with it. Do you have any thoughts on how Brexit will affect your business? I am concerned about Brexit, especially as the factory I work with is located in Portugal. I am worried there will be trade barriers put in place, which can affect my business. It is the ambiguity of what is in front of us. However, I am a new brand, so I will adapt. Furthermore, I am concerned about the possibility of an economic downturn, which may affect consumer spending powers after Brexit. What are your future plans for the business? My future plans are to continue with what I am doing. I am looking to expand my brand and to introduce a bridal collection in the future. I want to work with new stockists and expand my brand internationally and am excited to see where my journey takes me. How often do you launch new lines? I am aiming to introduce a new collection about twice a year. However, it will be dependent upon my customers. Also, I will introduce new colours and prints to my current collection. What are your current bestselling designs? Electra is currently our bestseller. It is the classic stiletto pump, which has silver cut-outs around the back and side of the shoe. I will be introducing this in black and red later this year. Iris, our multicolour mules, is also selling well, as it is distinctive and great for all seasons. When was the website launched, and how does it support the business? The website was launched in July 2018. It is extremely important, as it promotes the brand and all social media is connected to it. The website is also a great tool for customers and retailers to browse the collection. What have been the key milestones in the business? It has been a roller-coaster year for Meenu Graziani, but I am just getting started. However, so far it has to be being featured in Prima and seeing Susanne Reid wearing the Selene heels. Having stylists from all over the world giving me feedback and requesting my shoes and handbags for their clients has also been key milestone.
