How do you view the current market, and what trends – both in business and product – do you see emerging over the coming months? The current market is about rarity, connection, uniqueness and timeless qualities in jewellery pieces. The trends that I see, mostly in the precious gemstone jewellery arena, are for coloured diamonds, which are in high demand. With the CVD, HPHT white diamonds flowing into the market and into the mainstream diamond business, the rarity, uniqueness and the beauty of the coloured diamonds have made it a safe haven for our designers and clientele. Easy maintenance and everlasting qualities are what I notice jewellery buyers looking for. What are your future plans for the business? I just plan on continuing to follow the flow.
