Industry advice

Each issue, we strive to bring you not only the best products on offer but also valuable business insights to help you understand your customers better, trade ethically, and achieve financial success.

In this edition, we feature two standout industry insights. Our Editor’s Blog takeover explores how young adults are demanding greater transparency from brands regarding the potential pitfalls of credit options - an essential read that could offer valuable takeaways for your retail business.

In positive news for retailers, our second insight reveals that over half of Brits are moving away from digital spending in favour of in-person shopping. A promising sign for the future of independent retail!

As always, we shine a spotlight on the best brands and their latest must-stock pieces, with a focus on celestial-themed jewellery - one of today’s hottest trends - alongside gold jewellery, rings, handbags, and backpacks.

Enjoy the issue!

In a nationwide survey, conducted to coincide with Earth Day, the data found that eight in ten Gen Z (people under 28 years of age) consumers now shop exclusively for everyday or investment pieces. For Millennials, the figure is two-thirds. Jewellery has become an expression of personal identity – worn daily, chosen with care, and rooted in emotional significance. Despite the UK jewellery market exceeding £11 billion in 2023/2024, today's shoppers are embracing a "fewer, finer" mindset.
