As part of the update, the company has unveiled a new logo, which has sustainability in mind. Launched at Pitti Uomo show, the latest swing tags are made from card containing 60 per cent reclaimed coffee cup fibres, produced at the James Cropper Mill in the Lake District. The new logo was designed by Michael Johnson of Johnson Banks, with Pantherella having named a sock Johnson in its AW19 collection in homage to the designer. According to a press release, “Portrayed on the new packaging, the script writing is much clearer and easier for consumers to spot when shopping and also has a more luxurious finish to complement the product. For example, the men’s Classic, Tailored and Vintage collections packaging is black with a crisp white gloss, while the Luxury collection is finished with a gold gloss foil for added opulence.” Justin Hall, managing director at Pantherella continued, “When visiting stores such as Liberty London and Selfridges, we noticed an opportunity to make our socks stand out more, which required new design and marketing approaches to better engage with our consumer. As an established British, heritage brand, we always have to be cautious when updating in any way, so we’re pleased Michael made the process so easy and are very happy with the results.” Visit pantherella.com LOBOS HANDBAG BRAND LAUNCHES INTO UK MARKET Italian handbag brand Lobos is now available to UK retailers and is launching into the UK market with the AW19/20 collection named Milano in a nod to the artistically rich city and the cultural spirit of collaboration.
