The collection has been designed with support from members of the Zatchels team, fans of the brand and LGBT+ bloggers and influencers, with a special mention to freelance journalist and blogger Caroline Barry. The collection launched online and at the York store, with 20 per cent of sales donated to York Pride. Zatchels has partnered with York Pride to offer ongoing support of the organisation and its events throughout the summer months. Greg Stephenson, chair of York Pride, said: “We are incredibly proud to be partnering with Zatchels on its Pride range. It is always great establishing new relationships with companies who really value the importance of equality and diversity, and the fact that the organisation is donating 20 per cent of bag sales to York Pride is brilliant. York Pride exists because of volunteers, sponsors and fundraising initiatives, so this money will really benefit the event. While there are numerous ways the money will be used, one of our current priorities is to enhance the A/V during the Parade given its mammoth growth after the past few years. Extra funding for this will be really helpful.” Zatchels directors Dean Clarke and Brian Brady said, “The whole team here at our Zatchels factory is proud to support York Pride and the various worthwhile causes they in turn support. We’ve had a great deal of fun producing the bags, displaying the iconic colours of Pride. As a UK business and employer, we feel it’s important to promote equality in all its forms, and we believe these designs are a celebration of just that.” The range includes satchels, a city backpack, shopper bag, soft backpack, twist lock saddle bag and more in leather and decorated with the Pride rainbow flag. Bags can be personalised with names, initials or short messages, and each bag comes with a lifetime guarantee. The collaboration saw two products released in store and online at the White Company this May. Cheeky Chompers’ Neckerchew and MultiMuslin products have been designed in The White Company’s stylish signature scattered star print on a crisp white background in 100 per cent organic muslin. Following its successful partnership with Joules, Cheeky Chompers founders Amy Livingstone and Julie Wilson expressed their excitement about partnering with a new brand. Julie said, “We were introduced to Chrissie, The White Company’s founder, after winning NatWest’s Everywoman Awards last year. After giving her a background of our brand story and telling her about our business, we sent her samples and were delighted with the positive response we got! The White Company team loved the innovation and quality of our products and, even better, felt they were a great fit with the iconic Little White Company brand. It was such a thrill to work with the design team on two of our flagship products; it has been fantastic for this partnership to evolve! This gorgeous unisex print is a true classic that parents will love. We are certainly over the moon with the final designs.” The award-winning Neckerchew is a chewy dribble bib that combines two baby essentials: a dribble bib and teether. The bandana uses a BPA-free teether and a triple-layer design for maximum absorbency. The products are made in the UK from soft organic muslin. Visit cheekychompers.com
