Owner and designer David Hitchcock worked in nature conservation for 25 years and has a passion for taking photographs and nature. It gives him great pleasure to bring this passion to his vibrant botanical jewellery featuring flowers, leaves and butterflies made using images transposed onto recycled anodised aluminium. He currently supplies leading galleries and has recently had his work showcased with the National Trust. David is also this year’s winner of the JewelFund from the Jewellery Academy, Hatton Garden. With his background it’s important to him to have minimal impact on the environment. His jewellery is made from recycled aluminium and supplied in FSC certified boxes. Her jewellery is inspired by patterns and forms in both the natural and the manmade world. Modern photography methods enable her to create unique surface patterns, which enhance her geometric and sometimes playful style. Stephanie uses traditional jewellery techniques to create beautiful, structural and tactile jewellery that captures the wearer’s imagination. After a year off, Stephanie is delighted to be back at BCTF 2020 to launch a new collection and introduce some exciting additions to her established ranges. Judith makes all her pieces by hand using wire stitching techniques, which she’s developed herself to create feminine jewellery with a nod to the past, with inspiration coming from design, pattern and fashions of times gone by. Her best- selling Geometric collection is inspired by Art Deco design, yet has a stylish contemporary feel, new colour palettes in this range will be launched at the show. Christine Barnett, the brains behind the operation, has a rich background in millinery and hair styling and brings those creative skills to bag crafting. This allows her to service clients with a whole collection of matching accessories from a limitless range of materials. Her typical clients can range from individuals looking to commission a special piece or set, all the way to brands looking to produce specific exclusive short-run designs.
