First names revealed for UK Jewellery Festival 2023
 
The first exhibitors set to showcase their latest collections and products at the 2023 edition of the UK Jewellery Festival Trade Event this September, have been unveiled.

Precious metal refiner and manufacturer the Betts Group will join the likes of gemstone trader Crystal Myths, British fine jewellery manufacturer Hockley Mint, jewellery supplier IBB London, diamond marketplace Nivoda, watch brand Rotary and piercing specialist Studex in exhibiting at the now two-day event, which will take place this September at the Hilton London Metropole in central London.

Lighting specialist Parify, insurance provider TH March and the National Association of Jewellers will also join the event as supporters.

In collaboration with The Salvation Army, British born brand Hera has launched a new online clothing bank – a sustainable yet charitable solution that allows customers to donate their pre-loved clothing. The online clothing bank allows customers to send their donations to The Salvation Army, hassle free – via a local drop-off point.

Hera founded in 2015, under the premise of creating a new denim product for men that previously was unavailable; the spray-on skinny jean.

The Salvation Army was the organic next step to further their commitment to closing the loop with the fashion circular economy and sustaining our planet and this initiative will be a welcomed addition for their customers to take part in reducing waste all on the Heraclothing.com

Made in Britain, the trade association representing close to 2,000 SME manufacturing businesses across the UK, has appointed three new Non-Executive Directors to its board, as it marks 10 years of growth: Warren Gell, Global Global Commercial Director, Dartington Crystal; Katy Moss, Managing Director, Trent Refractories; Henry Beaver, Chief Executive Officer, Beaver Bridges.

They join existing Made in Britain board members: Prof. Chris Harrop OBE, ESG Strategy Director, Marshalls plc (Chairman); Camilla Hadcock, Owner and Director, Roach Bridge Tissues; Peter Atmore, Head of Global Sales and Marketing, Fracino.
