Pure London launches new areas; Premium womenswear, Purely Sustainable, Pure Edge, Pure Body, & Gen Z

Aiming to present the UK's most comprehensive fashion offering for the A/W 23/24 edition at Olympia London from 12-14 February 2023, Pure London is launching five new destinations joining Ready-to-Wear, Pure Jewel, Accessories, and Shoes. Visitors will discover curated spaces for Premium womenswear, Purely Sustainable, Pure Edge, Pure Body, and Gen Z.

Pure London has always served as a meeting point for the fashion industry and, from this February, sustainability will be at the fore with a curated selection of conscious exhibitors.

With the global ethical fashion market expected to grow from $6.35 billion in 2019 to $8.25 billion in 2023, Purely Sustainable will raise the profile of ethical and sustainable fashion across the entire event, helping lower the industry's carbon footprint and invest in a better future.

Giving & Living returns

As we head into the 'Golden Quarter' and retailers start gearing up for their Christmas merchandise displays, plans for the next edition of Giving & Living are well under way and a host of suppliers are lining up to join the premier Coastal sourcing event in the UK buying calendar. Running from 15th-17th January 2023 at Westpoint, Exeter, Giving & Living is a very important trade event for home and giftware in the south-west of Britain, covering more coastal regions than any other exhibition.

Autumn Fair 2022 delivers on inspiration & discovery

Thousands of retailers visited Autumn Fair, the UK's wholesale marketplace for Home, Gift, Fashion and Sourcing, yesterday at the NEC Birmingham to source new products from hundreds of exhibitors as well as enjoy a host of insightful and educational talks and inspirational catwalk shows. The show floor was buzzing throughout the day, and feedback from exhibitors highlighted the volume of quality orders being placed while visitors were delighted to discover so many exciting new brands and products.

Harrogate Fashion Week closes its doors on a successful show

Harrogate Fashion Week closed its doors after a 2-day, record breaking event. Brands exhibiting reported record sales being reached and there was a significant increase in buyers attending.

The Sunday brought in nearly 50% more buyers than last year and the increase on Monday was a phenomenal 75% increase from last July.

The show is no longer a regional event and is now truly on the fashion trade calendar as being the largest exhibition of womenswear clothing brands under one roof, with a substantial amount of special occasion wear showing.

Brand Licensing Europe unveils first live fashion catwalk

Brand Licensing Europe (BLE), the leading European event for licensing and brand extension, has unveiled the timetable for its first ever live fashion catwalk, with nine inspiring 15-minute shows over the event's three days. BLE takes place 20-22 September at ExCeL London and visitors can register for free online.

To date, attending companies include stalwarts such as Primark, Stradivarius, FASHION UK, George @ Asda, Sainsburys Tu, Next, John Lewis, ASOS, GEMO, and thousands of other leading retailers and manufacturers.

Pure London, the UK's leading trade fashion buying event taking place on 17th – 19th July 2022 at Olympia London, has announced that 'Empowering Change' is the overarching theme for the show, and reveals two exciting retail industry legends as keynote speakers; Ed Burstell and Alan O'Neill will bring their retail leadership and international experience in fashion to the Pure London audience.

NAJ names further additions to the NAJ Summit 2022

The National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) has announced further additions to its schedule for the NAJ Summit 2022, including Better Business seminar speakers and new brands entering the Supplier Showcase on Sunday, June 12.

Curated with independent retailers in mind but suited to cross-trade professionals, the Supplier Showcase and Better Business seminars will take place on one-day with protected time in the schedule to ensure attendees don't miss out.

Joining the Supplier Showcase are British brand, CW Sellors, Hatton Garden-based supplier, Artisan, and natural diamond supplier, Dimexon, which is also sponsoring the Designer Retailer of the Year category at the NAJ Awards 2022. Previously announced exhibitors include Clarity Jewellery, Hockley Mint, TickTock Depot, JewelCounter, The Jewellery Show, Fei Liu, TH March, Diamnet, the Guild of Valuers and Jewellers, the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and Sierra Consultancy.
