Stock buying lists at the ready; Pantone, the global colour authority and provider of professional colour language standards and digital solutions for the design community, today introduced PANTONE 17-1230 Mocha Mousse. An evocative soft brown that transports our senses into the pleasure and deliciousness it inspires: cacao, chocolate and coffee, appealing to our desire for comfort. "Underpinned by our desire for every day pleasures, PANTONE 17-1230 Mocha Mousse expresses a level of thoughtful indulgence" says Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director Pantone Color Institute. Sophisticated and lush, yet at the same time an unpretentious classic, it extends our perceptions of the browns from being humble and grounded to embrace aspirational and luxe; presenting a discrete and tasteful touch of glamour."

Cheshire & Wain has launched an exclusive Louis Wain collection

Cheshire & Wain has launched an exclusive Louis Wain collection, which is in homage to eccentric British artist Louis Wain, whose work often depicted cats with vibrant floral backdrops. Brought to life on screen by Benedict Cumberbatch in The Electrical Life of Louis Wain (2021), Wain captivated hearts with his widely popular anthropomorphic cats, elevating their status from vermin and occasional mousers to the pets we love today. Author H.G. Wells said, "He has made the cat his own. He invented a cat style, a cat society, a whole cat world. The RHS collaborates with Radley on new handbag range

The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has announced a new collaboration with Radley, an industry-leading name in expertly made leather handbags and accessories, that will bring beautiful horticulture-inspired designs to a new collection launching, appropriately enough, in the spring.

The Radley X RHS collection includes handbags, purses and tote bags, and features designs inspired by artwork from the RHS Lindley Collections, the world's finest collection of botanical art, as well as the magnificent RHS Gardens themselves.

In particular the designs are based on the work of admired female artists Caroline Maria Applebee (c1787-1854), whose 300 or more elegant drawings are a fascinating record of social and horticultural history in her time, and Gertrude Jekyll (1843–1932), whose highly influential work laid the basis for modern garden design.
