Carrie Elizabeth Jewellery has designed a new collection with the aim to donate all profits to mental health charity, Mind.
On the first day of sales alone, UK independent jeweller Carrie Elizabeth made approximately £2000 in profit to donate. This will be an ongoing donation as the company produces more special pieces.
Carrie said, "We are extremely proud to be donating 100% of the profits made on this collection to the charity Mind. As someone who has personally suffered with anxiety in the past, I understand how important it is to have the right mental health support available to us. They do a fantastic job and we are very honoured to be able to support them with this collection."
Talking about the impact of jewellery, she says, "Jewellery is meaningful. Whether it's a gift from a loved one, or a self-gift for achieving a goal you have set yourself, the pieces of jewellery that we wear tell a story that is personal and unique to us. In this crazy world that we live in, life can often become overwhelming and it can be hard to take a step back."I wanted to design something that reminded each of us to pause, be in the moment and remember how special we are."
Carrie has designed three pendants, each engraved with a stargazing illustration and inspirational quote designed to ground us in times of trouble or unrest.
She says, "Choose the one that resonates most with you, and if you're ever feeling overwhelmed or anxious, use this as a tangible piece to hold onto and take a deep breath and allow yourself to come back to the moment."
