Diana Blair is appointed BTAA Chief Executive

The BTAA has appointed Diana Blair as its new chief executive. She brings 17 years of experience in a trade organisation environment, having held a managerial position at the Surface Engineering Association (SEA), where she was responsible for membership recruitment and retention, the development and execution of marketing strategies, business trend surveys and the SEA's successful Industry Conference and Biennial Awards evening. She oversaw a membership drive, which increased numbers by approximately six per cent a year, as well as generating new revenue streams. She was also responsible for keeping government bodies fully informed on issues vital to the trade association.

Diana studied at University College, Birmingham obtaining a series of qualifications relevant to her role in a trade association and enhancing her experience through professional courses.

Speaking about her new role, Diana says, “I'm very excited to be working within this industry and look forward to working closely with the BTAA's members to help enhance their businesses over the coming year.”
